Brief

Met-ocean data buoy provides real-time measurements of meteorological and marine environmental variables. This centralisation in data collection and wireless transmission allows for adaptive sampling in real-time, with the ability to increase sampling frequency to capture fine-scale changes in conditions in response to large-scale events as they occur. These Met-ocean data buoys have been deployed in Matsu, Gongliao and Chengkong Offshore to collect data to assist in the understanding of meteorological and ocean around Taiwan.
